EEG Resample
Any EEG source at a steady rate: BrainBrick at 4000 Hz down to 250, an LSL stream at an odd rate to a standard one, or a slow device below 100 Hz lifted to 100. Anti-aliased (nothing above 0.4 × the lower rate folds back), a jitter buffer for bursty network delivery and a slow correction for clock drift, so the output rate is exact over hours. Content Rate tells how much the data really holds: lifting a 50 Hz source to 100 Hz adds no information.
Inputs
| Port | Type | Default |
|---|---|---|
| EEG DataEEG from BrainBrick Device Input, EEG File Import, LSL Receiver, EEG Stream Receive or a µV Signal. Electrode names and the µV scale pass through unchanged. | structure | — |
| EnableOff releases the buffers; on again starts from live data (the buffer fills first). | bool | true |
| Output RateStandard Rate picks a standard EEG rate: 250 Hz from 500/1000/2000/4000+ Hz, 512 from 1024/2048, an accepted rate as it is, the next accepted rate below an odd one, and 100 Hz for a source below 100 (lifted). Same as Source makes an uneven or drifting stream steady at its own whole rate. | int | — |
| Custom RateOutput rate in Hz when Output Rate is Custom (1 to 16000). Above the source rate the data is lifted: smoother, but no new content — Content Rate says so. | float | 250 |
| Source Rate0 = the rate the source states (or measured when it states none). Set it when a sender states a wrong rate. | float | 0 |
| TimingAuto trusts a stated rate and only corrects slow clock drift; Arrival measures the rate from when data arrives (network senders with no rate). Nominal is Auto with a stated rate. | int | — |
| BufferHow much data is held to ride out uneven delivery. Auto starts at 40 ms for a local device and 150 ms for a network stream, then follows the measured jitter (and grows after a gap). Local Device 40 ms, Network 150 ms, or Custom. | int | — |
| Custom BufferBuffer in milliseconds when Buffer is Custom (20 to 1000). A poor web link may need 300–400 ms; more buffer = steadier but later. | float | 400 |
| GapWhat fills a hole when the source stops for longer than the buffer: Hold the last value, Fade to Zero over 0.25 s, or Zero. Data after the hole keeps its right time. | int | — |
| SamplesNetwork EEG when EEG Data is not connected: OSC Receiver's Messages or WebSocket Receive's Messages (this frame's batch), a list of numbers per frame, lists of frames, or CSV text lines. Values in µV. The rate comes from <address>/rate when an OSC sender gives it, else it is measured (or set Source Rate). | any | — |
| ChannelsValues per frame on Samples. 0 = one frame per message (its length is the channel count). Set it when one message carries several frames back to back. | int | 0 |
| LabelsElectrode names for Samples, in order: "Fp1, Fp2, F3, F4". Empty = the names an OSC sender gives on <address>/labels. Nodes that work per electrode need 10-20 / 10-10 names; unnamed channels become Ch1, Ch2 … | string | |
| AddressWhich OSC address carries the EEG on OSC Receiver's Messages, e.g. /eeg (one message per sample, a float per channel). Empty = the address with the most numeric messages. | string | |
