Drop Shadow

A soft shadow behind anything a picture shows — a shape, text, a photo, a cut-out person. The opaque parts of the Image cast it: Offset moves it (Grafit units, positive Y up), Blur softens it, Size grows it before the blur, Color tints it (its alpha is the shadow's strength). The shadow sits behind the picture, never over it.

Inputs

PortTypeDefault
EnableOff: the texture is cleared, like every image filter.booltrue
ImageThe picture that casts the shadow — its opaque parts do: a shape, text, a photo with transparency, a cut-out person.image—
ColorThe shadow’s colour; its alpha is the strength (0.6 by default). A coloured shadow reads as a glow behind.color—
Offset XHow far right the shadow falls, Grafit units (1 = half the short side of the view). Negative falls left.float0.02
Offset YHow far up the shadow falls, Grafit units, positive up — so the default −0.02 drops it below.float-0.02
BlurHow soft the shadow is, Grafit units. 0 = a hard copy of the shape; the slider goes to 0.2, not clamped above.float0.02
SizeGrows the shadow outward before the blur, Grafit units — a wider, heavier shadow than the picture itself.float0
