Deinterlace
Removes the comb of stripes from interlaced video (capture cards on 1080i, DV, TV recordings). Adaptive keeps full detail where the picture stands still and rebuilds the lines along edges where it moves; Adaptive (Best) also looks one frame ahead (one frame of delay); Bob shows every field on its own; Blend softens the lines together. Rate = Every Field gives one picture per field — 50 a second from 1080i50, the motion the camera saw. From a Camera Input or Video Player the original frames are used; put it right after other sources, before anything scales the picture. Camera Input can also do this itself (its Deinterlace setting).

| MethodAdaptive: full detail where the picture stands still, lines rebuilt along edges where it moves. Adaptive (Best): the same, also looking one frame ahead (one frame of delay). Bob: every field on its own. Blend: the lines softened together, a ghost on motion. | int | 0 |
| Field OrderWhich field was taken first. Auto: what a camera’s frames say, otherwise top first (HD, 576i) or bottom first (480i / 486i, DV NTSC). If motion looks jerky, back and forth, choose the other order. | int | 0 |
| RateEvery Field: one picture per field — 50 a second from 1080i50, the motion the camera saw. Every Frame: one picture per frame (25), from its first field. Blend always gives one per frame. | int | 0 |
