1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Grafit Pro ("the App"), a native macOS application developed and published by SIA SPACE, a company registered in Latvia, VAT LV40203141856, "Padambji", Vārpu ciems, Baldones pag., Ķekavas nov., LV-2125 ("we", "us", "our"), handles your information. SIA SPACE is the data controller within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

In short: Grafit Pro does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The App runs entirely on your device with no cloud services, no accounts, and no analytics.

2. Information We Collect

None. Grafit Pro does not collect any personal information, usage data, analytics, diagnostics, crash reports, or telemetry of any kind. There are no user accounts, no login, and no registration.

3. Local Data Storage

All data you create in Grafit Pro — projects, node graphs, recordings, and settings — is stored locally on your Mac. This data never leaves your device unless you manually copy, export, or share it yourself.

• Project files are saved to locations you choose on your filesystem.
• EEG recordings (when using BrainArt hardware) are saved as local files in a directory you specify.
• Application preferences are stored in standard macOS user defaults on your device.

We have no access to any of this data.

4. Camera, Face, and Audio Data

Grafit Pro can use your Mac's camera and microphone to drive real-time visuals. This processing is performed entirely on your device:

• Camera — body, hand, and face tracking runs on-device using Apple's built-in Vision framework. Camera images are analyzed in memory, frame by frame, and are never recorded, stored, transmitted, or sent to us or any server.
• Face data — face landmarks are used solely to generate live visuals. They are never used to identify, recognize, authenticate, fingerprint, or profile any person, are never used for advertising, and never leave your device.
• Microphone — audio is captured and analyzed on your device for real-time visualization and playback. It is not recorded, stored, or transmitted by the App.
• Machine learning — the Pitch Detection and Audio Beat Detection nodes analyze audio with neural networks that run entirely on your device via Apple Core ML. The models ship inside the App; no audio, features, or results ever leave your Mac, and no cloud AI service is involved.

No biometric, camera, or audio data is collected by us or shared with any third party. You can grant or revoke camera and microphone access at any time in macOS System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Virtual Camera — Grafit Pro can publish your rendered output as a system-wide virtual camera ("Grafit Camera") using Apple's Camera Extension technology. Frames flow directly from the App to the applications you choose to use the camera in, entirely on your device. We never see, record, or transmit these frames.

5. Network Features

Grafit Pro includes network communication nodes that are entirely user-initiated and user-configured:

• OSC (Open Sound Control) — sends/receives UDP messages on your local network to addresses and ports you specify.
• MIDI — communicates with MIDI hardware connected to your Mac.
• DMX / Art-Net — sends/receives DMX lighting data over UDP on your local network.
• TCP Client/Server — connects to hosts and ports you explicitly configure.
• Serial (USB/UART) — communicates with physically connected serial devices.

None of these features connect to our servers or any third-party service. All network communication is peer-to-peer between your Mac and the devices or software you configure. No data is sent to us.

6. Third-Party Services

Grafit Pro uses no third-party SDKs, frameworks, or services. The App is built exclusively with Apple-provided frameworks (Metal, SwiftUI, AppKit, Foundation, Vision, AVFoundation, Core Media, Core Audio, CoreMIDI, Accelerate). All camera, body/hand/face tracking and audio analysis use Apple's on-device frameworks. There are no advertising networks, analytics providers, or external dependencies.

7. Children's Privacy

Since Grafit Pro does not collect any data from any user, it is compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent regulations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 or any other age — because we do not collect personal information from anyone.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our privacy practices, we will update this page with the revised policy and a new "Last updated" date. Since the App does not collect data, we have no way to notify you directly — please check this page periodically.
