Face Skeleton
Draws live face contours (jaw, eyebrows, eyes, nose, lips) from Vision Tracking face data, reusing the skeleton renderer — per-face colors, points and/or lines, post-process glow, motion trails, and optional per-point labels with a compact short-code mode.
Inputs
| Port | Type | Default |
|---|---|---|
| EnableOff draws no contours; the motion trail empties out with it. | bool | true |
| FacesThe tracked face landmark data. Cable Vision Tracking's Face output here. | json | — |
| FaceWhich tracked face to draw. All draws every face; a single index draws only that slot and shows nothing while it is empty. | int | -1 |
| Per-Face ColorsGives each tracked face its own colour from a palette of eight, overriding the point and line colours. | bool | false |
| Show PointsDraws a dot at every face landmark. | bool | false |
| Point SizeRadius of the landmark dots in Grafit units. Negative values act as 0; faces are small, so 0.004 is already visible. | float | 0.004 |
| Point ColorColour of the landmark dots. Ignored while Per-Face Colors is on. | color | — |
| Show LinesConnects the landmarks into contours — jaw, brows, eyes, nose and lips, closed where the region is a loop. | bool | true |
| Line ThicknessThickness of the contour lines in Grafit units. Negative values act as 0. | float | 0.0025 |
| Line ColorColour of the contour lines. Ignored while Per-Face Colors is on. | color | — |
| OpacityTransparency of the whole drawing. Useful 0…1; higher values do not make it more than solid. | float | 1.0 |
| GlowBloom power around the contours; 0 is off. Negative acts as 0, and past roughly 2 the glow swallows the lines. | float | 0.0 |
| Glow SpreadHow wide the bloom spreads, from Tight to Very Wide. Clamped to 1…5. | int | 4 |
| Glow CutoffOnly pixels brighter than this take part in the bloom. Clamped to 0…1; 0 glows everything drawn. | float | 0.0 |
| TrailHow many past frames echo behind the face. Clamped to 0…500; 0 turns trails off. | int | 0 |
| Trail FadeHow fast each older echo fades away. Clamped to 0…1. | float | 0.6 |
| Trail SpacingKeeps an echo only every Nth frame, so the same echo count covers more time. Values below 1 act as 1. | int | 0 |
| Show Point LabelsWrites each landmark's region and index next to it, so a specific point can be identified. | bool | false |
| Short LabelsUses compact region codes such as LE3 instead of the full leftEye 3. | bool | true |
| Show Face LabelsWrites F0, F1 and so on above each tracked face. | bool | false |
| Label SizeText size of the labels. Held at 0.01 or above. | float | 0.1 |
| Label QualityGlyph rendering resolution — Low 256px, Medium 512px, High 1024px. Values outside those three snap to the nearest. | int | 0 |
| Label ColorColour of the per-point labels. The face label follows the line colour instead. | color | — |
| Face Label OffsetHow far above the face the face label sits, as a fraction of the face height. Any value works; negative drops it onto the face. | float | 0.3 |

What It Does
Draws live face contours from Vision Tracking — the jaw line, eyebrows, eyes, nose and lips — as connected outlines that move with the face. It's the face-mesh counterpart to the body and hand skeletons.
How It Works
Connect Vision Tracking's Face output. Each facial region (jaw, brows, eyes, nose, lips) is drawn as a connected line, with eyes and lips closed into loops. Show Lines, Points, or both. Per-Face Colors, post-process Glow and motion Trails all work just like the other skeletons.
Point Labels
Turn on Show Point Labels to see each contour point's identity — handy when you want to know exactly which point to reference. With Short Labels on, the ~76 points get compact codes (e.g. LE3 = left-eye point 3) so they don't overlap; off shows the full names.
Examples
- Glowing face mesh — Lines + Glow for a neon outline of the face.
- Expression visuals — the lip and eyebrow contours move with expressions, driving reactive graphics.
- AR-style mask — combine with Face Crop to build a face overlay.
Tips
- Start with a small Label Size (~0.04) if you enable point labels — there are a lot of points.
- Faces have no per-point confidence, so there's no confidence fade here (a face is either detected or not).
