Tone Synth
Short additive tones, struck by notes — glass in the wind, sparks, heat shimmer, mountain-dust bells, a marimba, rain plinks, crickets' chirps, a dormant volcano's single swell. Every note starts one of sixteen voices: up to four sine partials under an exponential envelope (some glide), or a cricket's train of soft pulses. A tone is struck and rings out; the note's velocity carries the data. Level and Decay scale new notes; Brightness opens the filter; Direction turns the circle the wind tones travel. Add inside an Audio Modular System and feed it from Scatter, Pulse or any note stream.
